- Staying At The Thenac Sangha Center -
TSC is dedicated to support & improve the quality of community for the Four Fold Sangha of Plum Village.
We welcome overnight guests from the Plum Village family, either in gender dormitories or camping on our farm. We ask for a financial donation to defer our costs, generally 15€/person/nite. Stays of up to one week are possible, longer by special request. WiFi and telephone are available.
Dormitories have furnished bunk beds with adjacent shared bathing and toilet facilities. The Tea Corner and dining table are available for guests’ use anytime, with cups, utensils, hot water, tea, coffee, condiments, microwave & toaster oven provided. House meals and kitchen are provided for resident family, but guests may share by arrangement. (We are not a bed & breakfast.) Clothes washing & drying are available for a small charge.
Tent campers in the yard have access to outdoor toilet, cold wash basin & electricity for battery charging. Outdoor fires are not allowed. If it rains, we have barns for shelter. Use of indoor facilities is available for additional consideration.
Camping cars & caravans can be accommodated on site, at fees similar to camping. Parking should be discrete and preferably out of public sight. Use of indoor facilities & external electricity can be arranged for additional consideration.
Daily Sangha Practice is posted in our front entry. Guests are invited to join us, Plum Village style. Morning meditation for 30 min. is at 7AM, with brief sharing afterwards. House is quiet after 10PM, silence in dorms, quiet talking elsewhere. Tea Corner and table are open all hours.
